I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
